Signs Of A Clogged Drain

Why Work With Us?

When Nothing Else Works, We Do

When our crews go out to your home or business, it’s not just a job – it’s a responsibility. They hold themselves accountable to get the job done, and done well, with courteous service and a job site that looks as good – or better – than when they arrived.

And unlike other places, where plumbing contractors come and go, our specialists have been with us for decades. They know the service areas they work in, the common types of plumbing in each neighborhood, along with all the relevant municipal codes and regulations, which means you receive plumbing solutions that make the most sense for your home or business.

Drain Cleaning Questions, Tips, And Tricks

If you have a slow drain, you should fix it. While water may still pass through, debris will continue to build up, eventually leading to a full blockage that’ll be more difficult – and probably more costly – to remove.

You can use a store-bought chemical drain cleaner, but it’s not an option we recommend. They aren’t a foolproof solution, and although they’ve gotten better about reducing the number of toxic chemicals they contain, the high level of corrosivity in drain cleaners isn’t great for the long-term health of your pipes or the water systems that they lead to.

There are few things you can do to avoid clogged drains:
  • Get a strainer for your sinks to keep food debris from flowing into your pipes.
  • Throw away grease, oil, and fat instead of pouring it down the drain. And that goes double for industrial operations and restaurants!
  • Don’t flush hygiene or personal health products down the toilet – not even so-called “flushable” wipes.
  • Flush out your drains with a mixture of hot water and baking soda + vinegar every couple of months.
  • Whether it’s at home or in the workplace, make sure everyone understands what items shouldn’t be disposed of in sinks and toilets.
